I don’t want to play sis roles: Lekha

Lekha Washington, who played Vinay’s sister in Jayamkondan, has said that she would no more accept such roles as they don’t have much scope to perform.

The actress, who is expecting the release of Va-Quarter Cutting, says, ‘after Jayamkondan, I was only getting sister roles to play. Annoyed, I packed my bags to go to Bollywood. In fact, Hindi films gave me some interesting projects.’

On Va- Quarter Cutting, she says, ‘it is a refreshing script. I was attracted by the way directors Pushkar and Gayathri narrated the script. The film has come out good. I enjoyed working with Shiva and S P Charan.’
